Residents of Pokot West County have been encouraged to continue to support President William Ruto as he develops strategies to ensure that this nation is strengthened economically.
Speaking at an event in Alale area, leaders in the county led by West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin, deputy governor Robert Komole and Sigor Member of Parliament Peter Lochakapong among other leaders, said that the president has good plans for this nation.
In addition, the leaders said that President Ruto’s action to support and lead the campaign to ensure that the leader of the resolution Raila Odinga gets the position of chairman of the African Union Commission is a clear sign that he has the goals of ensuring success for everyone without relying on political factions.
“All of us as leaders as well as citizens should support President William Ruto as he continues to set strategies to ensure that the economy of this nation improves. We just ask that we have faith in the president,” they said.
At the same time, the leaders expressed the need for all leaders and citizens in the county to support the UDA party, which is led by President William Ruto to ensure that it regains leadership of the nation in the 2027 general election.
“We have to make sure that this county is in one party towards the general election in 2027. Being in one party is a step that will help us ensure the victory of President William Ruto in the next general election,” they said.
