Meanwhile, Mwangi noted that for many years Pokot has been associated with a bad reputation of insecurity, but now the image will change due to the presence of the factory which he mentions as based on modern technology.
“Usually West Pokot county has been known as an area that has a lack of security in the country, however this factory will change the image of this county in the eyes of the world,” said Mwangi.
In addition, Mwangi stated that West Pokot county will benefit greatly from the factory as a large percentage of the deductions will be paid by the factory to the government for running its activities, while the remaining will be left in the county for development projects.
“A large percentage of the money that will be paid by this factory to the government will remain in this county to be used in implementing development projects,” he said.
Likewise, the chairman of Devki companies Narendra Ravaal said that his main goal is to ensure that the lives of residents are enhanced through the development of various projects including education and health.
