A family in Murkwijit Raises Alarm Over Claims to be Targeted by Unknown People

A family in Murkwijit area West Pokot County is living in fear due to what they claim, to be targets by unknown people with unknown intentions due to the mysterious events they have been witnessing in their compound.

According to Alice Kwaramul, for the past three weeks she has been finding human and hyena excrement at the gate of her compound, what scared her most being the blood that was spilled around her house.

On the other hand, Alice while raising the claims said that the recent happenings has caused her child’s health noting that her child is suffering from unknown disease.

Further Alice confirmed that, the tests from doctors have failed to determine the kind of disease her child is suffering from.

“For three weeks now I have been seeing strange things in my compound such as human and hyena’s feces as well as spilling blood around my house. These incidents have led to my child to suffer from a disease unknown even to the doctors,” said Kwaramul.

The village elder William Lang’at has strongly condemned the incident and also given a stern warning against anyone who will be found roaming in other people’s compounds at night that legal action will be taken against them.

“We have seen strange things happening in this village. Therefore in order to curb this, as a village elder, I have decided that legal action will be taken against anyone who is found roaming at night in other people’s compound,” said Lang’at.
