Lilian TomiTom Vetted For The High Commisoner to Zambia Post

West Pokot second Woman Representative Her Excellency Lilian Cheptoo TomiTom Lotuliatum has on Thursday 4th 2024 been vetted for the position of Kenya’s High Commissioner to Zambia.
The High Commissioner designate, was among twenty seven Nominated High Commissioners appointed by President Wiliam Ruto as representatives for Kenya’s missions abroad.
While speaking to Kalya Digital,TomiTom who was the third nominee to be vetted, expressed her joy following a successful vetting while describing how long the process took.
“The process was successful,i was the third to be vetted a process that lasted two and a half hours at the National Assembly in Nairobi,” said Lilian TomiTom.
Worth noting,upon approval by the Parliament,Hon Lilian TomiTom will be the first female pokot to serve as a high commissioner.
Meanwhile other nominees set up for the vetting include former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa who was nominated to be Kenya’s Ambassador to Egypt, and former Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi nominated as the country’s High Commissioner to Uganda.
Similarly, former Communications Authority of Kenya Director General Ezra Chiloba made a comeback to the limelight as Kenya’s new Consul-General nominee in Los Angeles, USA.
Worth noting, if Chiloba will be approved by Parliament, he will replace Thomas Kwaka Omolo who has served since May 2022.
Likewise, other notable nominees are Lt. Gen. Peter Mbogo Njiru who was appointed as High Commissioner in Islamabad, Pakistan, while Lt. General Jonah Mwangi was picked as ambassador to Tehran, Iran.
On the other side former LSK Vice President Caroline Kamende Daudi was tapped to serve as Kenya’s High Commissioner to Canada, Catherine Kirumba Karemu to London, United Kingdom, and Vincent Mogaka Kemosi to Accra, Ghana.
David Kiplagat Kerich was nominated to serve as High Commissioner in Washington DC, USA, while Peter Mutuku Mathuki is the High Commissioner nominee to Moscow, Russia.
