Kapenguria Hospital Receives Equipment from the Musalia Mudavadi Foundation

Kapenguria County Referral Hospital in West Pokot County has received two Incubators from the Prime Minister’s wife Tesi Mudavadi under the sponsorship of the Musalia Mudavadi foundation.
Speaking while receiving the equipment, the spouse of West Pokot’s Governor Simon Kachapin,Mrs Scovia Kachapin praised all the philanthropists who cooperated with the county government in strengthening health services for citizens.
“I am very grateful to mother Tesi Mudavadi along with all the philanthropists who have been helpful to us in strengthening health services at our hospital in Kapenguria,” said Mrs. Scovia.
Likewise, the county’s health minister Paul Woyakapel noted that the equipment is among some equipment that has been sent to the hospital through the efforts of the governor’s wife to reach out to various philanthropists, to ensure that the residents of the county receive the best health services.
“These devices will be of great help to the mothers of this county who depend on Kapenguria hospital especially for delivery services,” said Woyakapel.
On his part, the senior official in the County’s Ministry of Health, Nelly Soprin, congratulated the health workers in the county for continuing to provide services to the residents despite the strike of doctors and other health workers that has been going on in various counties in the country.
“I am very grateful to our doctors for continuing to serve the people despite the fact that doctors across the country have been on strike,” said Soprin.
