The Gor Mahia defender is likely to be fit in time for their crucial first leg encounter against Al Ahly at Nyayo National Stadium this Sunday.

Gor Mahia have been handed a huge boost with their Harambee Stars defender Alphonce Omija likely to be fit for their clash against Al Ahly at the Nyayo National Stadium this Sunday.

Omija has already has been ruled out of Kenya’s AFCON 2025 Qualifier against Namibia on Tuesday after picking up a knee injury during the opening fixture against Zimbabwe.

Omija’s absence comes as a blow to the national team as they prepare for their second Group J match in Johannesburg, South Africa.
