Ipswich Town to face Liverpool after 22 years away.
By Emmanuel Wakoli,
Ipswich Town will start their 2024/25 Premier League season with a mouth-watering clash at home to Arne Slot’s Liverpool at Portman Road.
Ipswich begin their 2024/25 Premier League season by hosting Arne Slot in his first game in charge of Liverpool as the Tractor Boys are handed a tough start to their return to the top flight after 22 years away.
The very last game the Tractor Boys played in the Premier League was away to Liverpool at Anfield in May 2002, which they were thrashed 5-0.
Ipswich Town will therefore face a difficult start with a trip to Manchester City at Etihad in their second game on August 24.
